13 months after installing the Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling system on a Boluda Towage Europe tugboat, the vessel remains free from fouling. At Sint Annastrand, in August 2019, we installed one Ultrasonic Fouling Prevention system to keep the seawater pipes, sea strainers (see photos), and crossovers free from fouling. These previously experienced significant fouling problems, leading to unnecessary maintenance.
The photos below were taken with the Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling system on board: 3 months and 13 months after installation. As can be seen, no fouling is visible during either inspection. We are pleased that we can contribute to Boluda Towage Europe’s environmentally friendly objectives in this way.
