Lamers System Care has installed an Ultrasonic Fouling Prevention system on the mud boxes and seawater cooling lines for a Dutch organization. They had serious fouling issues in their piping and mud boxes, as seen in photo 1. This photo was taken without the installation of the Ultrasonic Fouling Prevention system and only 3 months after the last maintenance.
The other photos were taken with the Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling System on board, 14 months after Lamers System Care completed the installation. As you can see, it is spotless and there is no fouling visible. This is a fantastic result, especially considering the ship operates near the province of Zeeland, where the water is highly prone to fouling.
