Lamers System Care has performed multiple installations on Rijkswaterstaat vessels. Rijkswaterstaat’s patrol vessels are active, among other places, in the province of Zeeland, where the water is highly susceptible to fouling. The vessels have an extensive cooling system that consists of a network of piping. The piping has always experienced significant fouling from algae, mussels, and other organisms. This led to malfunctions and unnecessarily high maintenance. Since the installation of the Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling system, the seawater pipes have been well protected and kept free from fouling. Following the successful results of the first installation on the RWS 78, it was decided to install the Ultrasonic Anti-Fouling system on 4 other vessels.
