The Problem
At a paper mill, paper fibers were accumulating in the dampener tank and forming large, solid blocks. These blocks would occasionally break loose and re-enter the process. Once they reached the pulp processing stage, they caused tears in the paper rolls, resulting in production losses and quality issues.
The solution
The ultrasonic antifouling system reduced the formation of large deposits in the silencer tank. The fibers no longer clumped together into large clumps but remained small and dispersed in the water. As a result, they no longer caused disruptions in the process, which improved product quality and reduced downtime.
